The Exchange in Morecambe held a workshop recently with a group of prospective co-researchers to look at needs and opportunities for enterprise development in their community. This was a very positive and productive event where they explored existing assets, positive hopes and ideas and needs and barriers.
The desire for change was apparent throughout and whilst some barriers were identified the positive spirit of the community continues to spread optimism!
There was confidence in the beauty of the natural features in the area and a strong recognition of the value a community hub could bring.
The next step is to analyse their research findings, watch this space!
